Dr. Mary M. Gillam, Col (Ret), USAF

Dr. Mary M. Gillam is an international speaker, coach, and trainer. She is a retired Air Force Colonel, and former member of the Senior Executive Service (SES) Corps with the Department of Defense at the Pentagon. Throughout her 30+ year career, she has led several organizations. As the former owner of M2G Dynamic Leadership Solutions, LLC, Dr. Gillam is currently revectoring her business. With over 30 years in telecommunications and information systems, she is a seasoned and experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO); Director of Technology, Engineering, and Innovation, and Director of Information Technology. With a background in chemistry and information systems technology, Dr. Gillam is the former President of the Armed Forces Communications-Electronics Association, which won several awards under her tenure. A strong proponent of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), while in Oklahoma, Dr. Gillam started a scholarship to support government and corporate clients pursuing these disciplines. As the host of the local television show, “Leadership Table Talk” which airs on Cox, Verizon, and Comcast, Dr. Gillam recently did an interview on STEM. Dr. Gillam is a certified Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma, and a certified John Maxwell Leadership Speaker, Coach, and Trainer. A supporter of life-long learning, Dr. Gillam has three Masters Degrees, and holds Graduate Certificates in Advanced Project Management, and Legislative Affairs. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Executive Leadership at Georgetown University.

Dr. Gillam is also an Amazon #1 bestselling author of 12 books to include three leadership books. An avid writer, in 2010, she published her dissertation, “Exploring the Impact of the Clinger-Cohen Act on Information Technology Governance. Her paper on Information Warfare: Combating the threat in the 21st Century received rave reviews. Dr. Gillam is also the creator of the CORE Leadership Development Model, and the inventor of “The Leadership Build Zone,” which is a new board game designed to move leadership training from the classroom into homes worldwide.
